Since 1991, Control Informática has been developing business management systems for the beverage and food distribution segments. Today, the company operates through LinkedBy, a holding company that manages technology companies across a range of industries.
Among them are the areas of business intelligence, sales and marketing. More than 750 customers, spread throughout Brazil, receive technologies that, among other functions, help with market mapping, monitoring sales and measuring prices.
In recent years, selling software as a service has become a trend. As a result, companies like Control have specialized in investing in capital goods to optimize their processes and sell products that meet a growing demand for efficiency in business management.
However, many customers still work with outdated technologies.
“Many of them still use technologies without quality antivirus systems, for example”, points out Douglas Bermeijo, director of technology at Control.
This situation makes it difficult to provide services, which, with an enormous number of local servers, are unable to keep all networks properly updated.
According to Bermeijo, the partnership with Sky.One helped simplify Control's work. By opting for the cloud, it becomes easier to update systems and make the necessary backups for data security.
“Now it is possible to know, directly from our center, who needs an update. Before, this was not possible. Sky.One has a high-performance disk, which makes the system more efficient and more secure,” she says.
Currently, around 20 customers of the company have their data processing managed by
Sky.One . Another point that leveraged the partnership was the customers' own need for cloud guru. Many of them already had systems installed, through the management of competitors in the market, which resulted in an increase in costs.
Due to the instability in the Brazilian economy in recent times, companies seek improvements in their respective management. It is in this scenario that the hosting solutions market advances as one of the main cost reduction alternatives for companies. In 2015, Control grew more than 14%. For this year, the company maintains optimistic projections, with a 15% advance compared to last year's result. “Good management, aided by a good system, can be decisive in the tightest moments. What customers are most looking for is technological efficiency, and one of the great benefits of the cloud is to standardize everyone's infrastructure,” says Bermeijo.
