About the Company
Since 1991, Control Informática has developed business management systems for the food & beverage distribution market. Today, the company operates through LinkedBy, a holding company managing technology companies in various industries. These include areas such as business intelligence, sales, and marketing. More than 750 clients throughout Brazil leverage solutions designed for market mapping, sales monitoring and price analysis.
Over time, Software as a Service (SaaS) sales model has continued to become a well adopted trend. As a result, companies, like Control Informática, have made a heavy investment towards streamlining their processes and selling products to meet the growing demand for efficient business management systems. Many customers, however, still work with lagging technologies.
“Many of them still use technologies without quality antivirus systems, for example,” Douglas Bermeijo stated, Control Informática’s Chief Technology Office.
This situation makes it difficult to attend, which, with a huge number of local servers, is unable to keep all networks properly updated.
According to Bermeijo, partnering with Sky.One helped simplify Control Informática’s operations. By opting for the cloud, it becomes easier to upgrade systems and make the necessary backups for data security.
“It is now possible to know directly from our headquarters, who needs updating. Before, this was not possible. Sky.One has a high performance disk that makes the system more efficient and safer,”Bermeijo stated.
About 20 of the company’s customers currently have data processing managed by Sky.One. Another factor driving the partnership was the customers’ own need for cloud solutions. Many of them already had systems in place through the management of market competitors resulting in increased costs.
Due to recent instability in the Brazilian economy, companies are seeking improvements to management. With this market factor, the cloud hosting market advances as a primary cost consideration for companies. In 2015, the company grew by more than 14 percent. That year, the company upheld promising projections, with a 15 percent gain year-over-year.
“Good management, aided by a good system, can be decisive in the tightest of times. What customers are looking for the most is technological efficiency, and one of the great benefits of the cloud is to standardize everyone’s infrastructure,” Bermeijo stated.
