The challenge of migrating to the cloud
Despite its market recognition, Soter faced significant technological challenges with its on-premise infrastructure. The data processing center, installed in a makeshift space, dealt with problems such as backup failures, physical risks, and a lack of capacity to support the growth of the operation.
“We even used a backup solution that, at the critical moment, turned out to be corrupted. This made us realize the seriousness of the risks we were running. We needed a robust, secure, and predictable solution,” recalls Liliane, IT manager at Soter.

“Skyone’s proactive approach in identifying problems and suggesting solutions, such as migrating to Oracle in Brazil, was essential. The result was a faster, more efficient environment with a direct impact on productivity,” explains Liliane.
