Tijuca Alimentos integrated its Totvs Protheus system with internal management software and now maintains a consistent flow and organization of available data.
About the company
Tijuca Alimentos has been in the food market for over 50 years and currently employs approximately 2,400 people. It is the largest egg producer in the state of Ceará and is currently experiencing constant growth, always prioritizing the social values of the company and its employees, generating significant engagement.
Challenges
Tijuca Alimentos operates in the agribusiness vertical, focusing on agriculture, and due to the rapid growth in demand, the company is migrating to a market-leading ERP system. To this end, they implemented TOTVS Protheus, primarily for their back-office operations. However, a high demand for secure integrations and the guarantee that information reached all destinations without errors were necessary. "That's why we started looking for iPaaS platform case studies and came across Skyone," comments Danilo Veloso Lopes, IT Manager at Tijuca Alimentos.
Furthermore, they sought another way to perform the necessary processes. Initially, we considered creating our own integration tool. However, with the programmer market being very competitive, we realized that this would jeopardize the project's progress. And the desire to have a manageable and low-code platform really caught our attention, he says.
Solution
Their main objective was to have control and the ability to identify problems before they could reach the end customer. With integrations flowing smoothly and real-time monitoring in place, the search was for a solution that would fit this scenario and help ensure data was always available.
Having been a Skyone partner for 4 years using the Skyone Autosky , the company's cloud solution, and due to constant communication with the sales team, Tijuca requested a presentation on Integrations and Data Flows . Since then, they have jointly agreed that the iPaaS integration-as-a-service platform would be ideal for their needs.
Using the TOTVS Protheus ERP system and other software for internal demands and needs such as feed production, egg production, and slaughterhouse production, in addition to billing processes like sales force, invoices, commercial operations, etc., it was necessary to have an integration that maintained the cadence and organization of data and that everything was always available in real time.
Results
One of the first results to be noticed was the gain in productivity in the implementation of new integrations, the reduction in complexity with the use of a low-code platform, and the optimization of the process as a whole, because they were able to abstract many steps that had become unnecessary.
The implementation was straightforward, carried out with the support of the Skyone team in partnership with Tijuca's employees, and as they used the platform on a daily basis, questions were answered to ensure a smooth implementation.
We have a large team of junior developers who don't have much knowledge of the legacy system. Therefore, we had the idea of including them in the platform implementation, which worked very well since Skyone's iPaaS is a low-code platform and very intuitive. They are doing very well and are happy to deliver results. Danilo Veloso Lopes, IT Manager at Tijuca Alimentos.
Currently, the company is already using the platform and seeing it flow positively. Looking to the future, it intends to integrate all software from all areas of the company onto the platform, gaining a 360-degree view of all processes and directly impacting employees and end customers.
