Joint venture: Skyone joins forces with a technology leader in the hospitality vertical

The partnership between Skyone and Faitec aims to enhance the hotel industry by combining expertise and technology to offer a personalized and efficient customer experience

In the first half of May, Skyone, a leader in providing technological products to simplify routines and enhance business productivity through a single platform, announced a joint venture with Faitec, a company recognized as a leader in providing technological products and solutions for the hotel sector. This union of expertise arises as a result of a shared strategic vision: to technologically strengthen the hotel sector, offering an even greater value proposition to customers.

With a projected annual growth of 6.23%, the hotel sector currently represents 7.9% of Brazil's GDP, directly impacting tourism and regional development. Given this, this sector increasingly demands high-tech solutions to support this growth and market advancement, ensuring data security, scalability, operational efficiency, and a personalized guest experience.

“This collaboration strengthens Skyone’s position in the hospitality market, mainly due to Faitec’s concentrated and focused expertise in the hotel vertical. By joining forces, we gain not only specialized knowledge but also strategic direction, allowing for a more effective and assertive approach in offering solutions for the hotel sector,” highlights Rodrigo Tremante, CFO and partner at Skyone.

“The partnership itself is based on a model we call win-win, without specified values, but with the possibility of substantial growth, boosting the combined market value to significant levels. Both parties are confident that this union will result in financial and operational benefits in the short and long term, further consolidating their leading positions in the market,” the executive added.

Faitec Tecnologia was founded in 2002 and its distinguishing feature is its deep understanding of hotel industry operations, a quality that has earned it awards and is essential to the success of the joint venture . Over the years, the company, located in Barueri/SP, has already served more than 2,000 clients and will continue to provide support to them.

“From today onwards, hotel operations will have the best of both worlds: a simplified platform with endless possibilities and specialized knowledge in their sector. We will offer high availability, connectivity and security, as well as opening doors to a new era of data intelligence in the sector,” comments Rodrigo Tremante, CFO and partner at Skyone.

Progress on the horizon

“This year, we are truly committed to increasing our reach nationally and internationally through various market initiatives. One of the pillars of our robust business plan is inorganic growth, and the joint venture with Faitec is another step in executing this plan. As we recently announced, we also acquired another player in the segment, FWC Cloud, based in Itu, and we have other important discussions underway,” adds Tremante.

Skyone has around 18,000 clients from all Brazilian states, and is present in more than 20 countries across five continents. Also in 2024, the scale-up received an investment of R$ 60 million via Venture Capital Bewater.

The corporation has completed two other M&As in its history, acquiring Vublo in 2022 and DBMaster in 2023. For 2024, there are plans for other transactions of this magnitude, in addition to the physical expansion of the company's headquarters in São Paulo and, consequently, an increase in the number of employees. According to Tremante, the goal for 2024 is to close the 12 months with a revenue of R$ 400 million.
