Joint-venture: Skyone joins forces with technology leader in the hospitality vertical

The partnership between Skyone and Faitec seeks to improve the hospitality scenario, combining expertise and technology to offer a personalized and efficient experience to customers

In the first half of May, Skyone, a leader in providing technological products to simplify routine and enhance business productivity through a single platform, announces a joint venture with Faitec, a company recognized as a leader in providing technological products and solutions for the hotel sector. This union of expertise arises as a result of a shared strategic vision: to technologically strengthen the hotel sector, offering an even greater value proposition to customers.

With an expected annual growth of 6.23%, the hotel sector currently represents 7.9% of Brazilian GDP, directly impacting tourism and regional development. Given this, this is a sector that increasingly demands high-tech solutions to support this growth and advancement of the market, ensuring data security, scalability, operational efficiency and a personalized experience for guests.

“This collaboration strengthens Skyone’s position in the hotel market, mainly due to Faitec’s concentrated and focused expertise in the hotel vertical. By joining forces, we gain not only in specialized knowledge, but also in strategic direction, allowing a more effective and assertive approach in offering solutions for the hotel sector”, highlights Rodrigo Tremante, CFO and partner at Skyone.

“The partnership itself is based on a model that we call win-win, with no specified values, but with the possibility of substantial growth, boosting the joint market value to significant levels. Both parties are confident that this union will result in financial and operational benefits in the short and long term, further consolidating their prominent positions in the market”, adds the executive.

Faitec Tecnologia was founded in 2002 and its distinguishing feature is a deep knowledge of the operation of the hotel sector, a difference that has already received awards and is essential for the success of the joint venture . Over the years, the company located in Barueri/SP already has more than 2,000 customers and will continue to provide support to its customers.

“From today onwards, hotel operations will be able to count on the best of both worlds: a simplified platform with Endless possibilities and specialized knowledge in their sector. We will offer high availability, connectivity and security, in addition to opening doors to a new era of data intelligence in the sector”, comments Rodrigo Tremante, CFO and partner at Skyone.

Advancement on the horizon

“This year, we are truly committed to increasing our reach nationally and internationally, through various movements in the market. One of the pillars of our robust business plan is inorganic growth, and the joint venture with Faitec is another step in the execution of this plan. As we recently announced, we also acquired another player in the segment, FWC Cloud, based in Itu, and we have other important conversations underway”, adds Tremante.

Skyone has around 18 thousand customers, from all Brazilian states, in addition to being present in more than 20 countries, on five continents. Still in 2024, the scale up received an investment of R$60 million via Venture Capital Bewater.

The corporation concluded two other M&As in its history, acquiring Vublo in 2022 and DBMaster in 2023. For 2024, other transactions of this magnitude are expected, in addition to the physical expansion of the company's headquarters in São Paulo and, consequently, the increase of the team of collaborators. For 2024, according to Tremante, the goal is to close the 12 months with revenue of R$400 million.
