Skyone strengthens the People area with the hiring of a new executive

Deborah Araújo is the new CHRO of the Brazilian scale-up, with a presence in more than 20 countries and clients in all Brazilian states; The company has the goal of ending the year 2024 with revenues of R$400 million

São Paulo, June 2024 – The human resources area goes far beyond recruitment and selection. This department, highly strategic for companies, is responsible for training professionals, accelerating leadership, identifying talent and opportunities, advising and, recently, has been at the forefront of equity, diversity and inclusion programs in many companies.

Paraphrasing the writer and professor, Idalberto Chiavenato, widely recognized in this segment, the strategic role of HR transcends operational tasks. The author also emphasizes that, because it is a fundamental role in defining business strategy, all leaders must know the essentials of this area.

According to Ricardo Brandão, CEO of Skyone, a leading company in providing technological products to simplify routine and enhance business productivity through a single platform, a structured company prioritizes HR. “The human resources department is one of the most important parts of a business, as it is the area that deals with people, and is the essential raw material of our organization”, he highlights.

Furthermore, Skyone, which has grown +50% year on year, has made acquisitions with economic units , and understands that to further improve the company's efficiency, it has become necessary to take a special look at the organizational structure as a whole, promoting strengthening organizational culture and, of course, investing in people.

Structural news

Skyone, which has a robust expansion plan for 2024, with the acquisition of FWC Cloud – made official in April – and the recently announced joint-venture with Faitec, announces the landing of Deborah Araujo for the role of CHRO – Chief Human Resources Officer. With more than two decades of experience as a Human Resources Manager, the executive arrives at the company with a focus on “ change management ” – structural and organizational changes, seeking to support leaders in the objective of delivering changes aligned with strategic planning.

Graduated in Psychology from Unifor, with a postgraduate degree in “Management of Business ” from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV and another extension in “Strategic Change Management” from Kellogg Executive Education, Deborah has worked in several industries as an investment fund for agribusiness ( operating in Brazil, USA, Argentina and Colombia), technology, education, tourism, paper and cellulose.

Expansion

The changes to Skyone's Human Resources department are in line with the company's aggressive goals for this year. Headquartered in São Paulo and present in more than 25 countries (on five continents), the scale-up has customers in all 27 states of Brazil, positioning itself as a leader in the supply of technological products that aim to simplify routine and enhance business productivity through a single platform, all through Cloud Computing, Data, Cybersecurity, Marketplace and Services .

“Skyone has an appetite for mergers and acquisitions, not only to accelerate its growth but also to reinforce its technological leadership, thus ensuring that growth continues to be accompanied by financial efficiency”, highlights Brandão.

Skyone concluded two other M&As in its history, acquiring the companies Vublo in 2022 and DBMaster in 2023. For 2024, other transactions of this magnitude are expected, in addition to the physical expansion of the company's headquarters in São Paulo and, consequently, the increase of the team of collaborators. For 2024, the goal is to close the 12 months with revenue of R$400 million.
